How we write about attachment and relationships

Relationship content can feel personal and authoritative. Our rules are designed to reduce shame, overstatement, and medical or diagnostic confusion.

1. We describe tendencies, not fixed identities

We use language such as “you may tend to,” “this can show up when,” and “under stress, you might notice.” We avoid statements that define a person permanently or predict a relationship outcome.

2. We use concrete situations

Content focuses on observable moments: delayed replies, changes in tone, vague plans, conflict, emotional shutdown, repeated reassurance, difficulty expressing needs, or wanting closeness and distance at the same time.

3. We do not diagnose

The product does not diagnose attachment disorder, trauma, personality disorder, anxiety disorder, or any other condition. We do not label a partner as toxic or infer motives from a type result.

4. We avoid shame

Anxious, avoidant, and fearful-avoidant responses are described as protective patterns with costs and strengths. Blind spots are paired with practical alternatives rather than moral judgment.

5. We separate facts from interpretation

Articles and reports distinguish what is observable from what the mind may infer. We also state what a pattern cannot prove.

6. We prioritize safety over attachment explanations

Attachment style never excuses violence, coercion, stalking, threats, sexual pressure, financial control, or repeated violations of consent. Safety guidance takes priority over compatibility or communication advice.

7. We do not use deceptive conversion tactics

We do not add fake countdown timers, fake scarcity, fabricated recent purchases, false accuracy claims, or forced sharing. The paid report is sold through a clear description of its personalized content.

8. We disclose product limits

Methodology, privacy, terms, refund conditions, and support routes are publicly available. Private reports are noindex and protected by a high-entropy access token after valid payment.

9. Corrections and review

Content may be updated for clarity, safety, product accuracy, or new review. Material changes should include a version or update date. Questions about a page can be sent through support.
